Matched Betting Tutorial - Step 7

Placing your Free Bets

When your free bet is awarded, just repeat the process of backing and laying as above. The odds for your free bet need to be higher than 6 ideally and remember that this is a SNR bet on the calculator.

At the bookie your free bet award may be shown in a number of different ways. Your main balance may show an increase of £25 - there may be a separate Free Bet balance in addition to your Main Balance - or you may have the option to choose between Free Bet funds or (your own) Balance funds after you have placed your selection into the betting slip (effectively giving you a choice as to how you want to pay for that particular bet. You will be able to withdraw your own balance but not the free bet balance. Call their customer services if you're unsure and always check their terms and conditions for your own peace of mind. Just don't tell them that you are only interested in bagging their bonus or that Cash Matters sent you... Let's keep that our little secret shall we?

Once you have completed both your qualifying and free bets at your bookie of choice, it's time to move on to the next one. How you do this is up to you. You can click on any bookie below or from our list of bookmakers and read our reviews. Alternatively you can search for a bookie of your choice using our oddsmatcher which will point you towards the best deals available for each particular bookie. However if you want the best possible deals and don't mind which bookie you do next our best odds matcher tool will highlight all the very best deals available right now. This is available under the Arbitrage section which provides more detail about how you can guarantee profits after you have taken advantage of the opening offers. Sustained income for life anyone?
